Journal of Intellectual History and Political Thought
About the Journal
The Journal of Intellectual History and Political Thought is a peer-reviewed online publication associated with the Graduate Conference in the History of Political Thought. All full-length articles are selected from among the papers presented at the annual Conference held in London following a peer-review process. Reviews of recent publications in the field are accepted from interested students and scholars. Details of the submission and review process can be found here.
Submissions - Call for Papers
We are currently soliciting reviews of recent publications to be published in our first issue. Reviews should be between 500 and 1000 words and should conform to the guidelines set out here. To be included in the next issue reviews should be submitted by 30 June 2011, but we also accept reviews throughout the year.
If you are interested in submitting, please email the editor-in-chief at journal@historyofpoliticalthought.net with the details of the proposed publication for review and a short CV. We are happy to get in touch with publishers on behalf of reviewers to request recent books to review, and most publishing houses have catalogues of such recent publications online. Only submissions from current graduate students will be considered. A full call for reviews can be found here.
Editorial Review Board
We are currently looking for graduate students to join our Editorial Review Board. Those on the board will be called on to provide peer reviews, promote the journal internationally, and solicit submissions. If you are a graduate student in the History of Political Thought or related fields and are interested in joining the Editorial Review Board, please email a CV and a short (half page) statement of interest, outlining research interests and any relevant experience to journal@historyofpoliticalthought.net.
